Sensationalistic title? Indeed. And most of you don't give three shits about football(Soccer) I guess. But as a Norwegian it IS rather cool that a 16 year old lad get the chance to play in th CL for one of (if not THE) best teams in the world.

It's widely thought to be a move that's unlikely to work out for the kid, despite RM promising yet again that this time they really will give youth a chance, honest. Hopefully won't harm his career too much, although he should clearly have gone to Arsenal instead ;)

True, but that does not mean that we don't need someone like Martin. And BFS can take a walk in the park if you ask me.. playing Nolan as the main man and putting Downing on the wing (well.. you know) instead of putting downing at the tip of the diamond..

I'm not sure BFS deserves to be criticised too harshly given your current league placing. Say what you like about him, he gets results, and if Nolan doesn't work out, Downing will be straight back in.

They should have given him the England job years ago.

You're right. We've placed way higher than anyone would've thought so far this year. But we still make mistakes, and as far as I'm concerned one of the mistakes we keep making is not playing Downing as a key player up top.

There's no doubt that Sam is a great fucker though, he just seems a bit "set" in his ways sometimes.
